The Board of Trustees of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation announced on April 7th, 2022 the recipients of the 97th Guggenheim Fellowships competition. Based on prior achievement and exceptional promise, a diverse group of 180 exceptional individuals were appointed. Ta-coumba is recognized in the Fine Arts category after competing in a rigorous process of nearly 2500 applicants for 2022.
